Concrete patio and driveway installation costs
Our plain concrete patio installation range is $4–$12 per square foot. Our concrete driveway installation range is $8–$20 per square foot.
To build a preliminary budget, multiply your project’s square footage by both ends of the applicable range. For a rectangular area, multiply length by width to get square footage. Keep patio and driveway calculations separate if your project includes both. This gives you a budget range, not a project quote.
Finishing means waiting for the surface
We wait until bleeding has stopped and the concrete has no water sheen before further finishing. Surface readiness, not just elapsed time, is the checkpoint.
Exterior flatwork commonly gets a push-broom texture for traction. When comparing estimates, ask which finish each contractor has specified rather than assuming every installation price covers the same finished surface.
What to ask for in your estimate
Give us the approximate dimensions, identify whether you need a plain patio or a driveway, and describe any existing concrete involved. Ask for an estimate that states the measured area, the work covered and the intended finish. Keep any separately priced work visible so you can compare the same scope across bids.
