Our polished concrete floor pricing ranges from $2 to $16 per square foot. When discussing your project with us, ask what work the quoted price includes, particularly if you also need a new slab.
Preparing a new slab
We place and align reinforcing steel or other specified reinforcement on the prepared base. Our equipment for concrete work includes a concrete screed and a bull float.
We do not assume that conditions near Kahului Harbor match an inland parcel. The mapped fill soil at Hoaloha Park has low shrink-swell potential but is occasionally flooded. Those conditions describe that site, not every property where we work.
Curing before polishing
For new concrete, we begin curing once the surface can resist marring. We use a curing compound or a moisture-retaining cover, such as wet burlap or plastic. This is part of caring for the newly placed concrete, not a polishing step for an existing floor.
