What does concrete driveway repair cost?

Our concrete driveway repair pricing ranges from $3–$25 per square foot. When reviewing a quote, ask how many square feet it covers and what work is included. A per-square-foot rate alone does not describe the scope of the repair.

How we spread concrete

We deposit concrete close to its final position, then spread it with a square-ended shovel or come-along. Spreading gets the concrete into place; it is not the same step as leveling the surface.

Consolidating edges and larger placements

We tamp concrete at the form edges to consolidate it. On larger placements, we use a vibrating screed or an internal concrete vibrator. If you are comparing proposals for a larger pour, ask how the contractor will consolidate the concrete, including along the forms.

Leveling the pour

We strike off the concrete with a lumber or metal screed, using the forms as our guide. As we move across the pour, we fill low spots rather than leaving them behind. Ask who will handle this step and how they will check the level as the work progresses.
